Ice Cream Trucks

An ice cream truck is a commercial vehicle that serves ice cream during the summer months. Ice cream trucks are often seen parked at public events, near parks, beaches, or other areas where people gather. Since every child loves ice cream, the trucks often travel near where children play — outside schools, in residential areas, or in other locations. They usually stop briefly before moving on to the next street.

The trucks are often brightly decorated with simple drawings of ice cream and cartoon like characters. For safety reasons most these trucks also have bright contrasting signage reminding other drivers on the road that they should watch for children.
